Current status and prospects of research on smoke prevention effects of air curtains
Zhao Jiawei, Li Sicheng
In view of the excellent smoke prevention performance of air curtains, this paper presents the research status of air curtain smoke prevention based on the research results on air curtains at home and abroad from four aspects: flow field structure, smoke prevention performance, characteristic parameters, and coupling smoke prevention of traditional smoke prevention and exhaust technology with air curtains. The flow field structure and the jet trajectory of air curtains are analysed, and the main causes of smoke leakage are identified. After comparing the methods for evaluating the smoke prevention performance of air curtains, it is believed that the smoke blocking momentum ratio is a parameter with better universality in evaluating the smoke prevention performance of air curtains. By summarizing the research on the characteristic parameters of air curtain jets, the method for determining the characteristic parameters of air curtains is obtained. The impact of traditional smoke prevention facilities on the smoke prevention performance of air curtains is analysed, and the layout method of coupling smoke prevention and exhaust facilities with air curtains is obtained. The shortcomings of current research are analysed, hoping to provide a reference for the design and research of air curtain smoke prevention.
